ABOUT | Dinas Powys Baptist Church:

Where are we?

Services in Parish Hall, Britway Road, CF64 4AF (unless stated otherwise) 10:30am

We meet for worship every Sunday morning at 10.30 when we worship God through music, share teaching from the Bible as well as getting to know each other better over a cup of tea or coffee.

There are other groups that make up the church that meet at other times throughout the week, including a monthly service at Golau Caredig, Barry. We recognise that not everyone is able to gather on a Sunday morning and so we have a number of groups that follow a Discovery Bible Study model and meet each to support and pray for each other, to read and respond to the Bible and to look out to share with others about what God has done for us.

We host a Renew Wellbeing Cafe (The Dwelling Place) each Thursday morning from 10am - noon in the Dinas Powys Community Library and Activity Centre. An open space of welcome and inclusion to aid mental and emmotional wellbeing. Somewhere it's OK not to be OK!

We have regular social events throughout the year as well as social action days where we gather together to serve parts of our community through things like litter picking, gardening and graffiti cleaning.

We are members of the Baptist Union of Great Britain and the Evangelical Alliance, and work closely with other churches across the Vale of Glamorgan.
